This 40 lb kettle bell’s handle snapped off during kettle … This 40 lb kettle bell’s handle snapped off during kettle bell swings. Thankfully, it didn’t fall on anyone’s toes. It was never being handled improperly or dropped. Simply a 100% defective product. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

Not cast iron. Gently peeling off the sticker pulled a huge chunk of the finish away from the handle, exposing concrete underneath. Wha? I mean, it still works. It’s still a kettlebell. But if the coating continues to flake off, the handle will be rough on my hands. As far as kettlebells go, there are better ones out there. I would suggest the description for this product be changed because cast iron it is not. It’s cement.

The handle could be a little roomier, but that would mean more material and more money. If you want the competition grade CAP makes those too, but they’re more.As to the “seam” that I’ve heard complained of, mine are just fine.. and at this price even if the would have had a casting seam still present it’s nothing a little sandpaper and some elbow…
