This is not at all like the one at the gym or at the Physical … Not heavy enough, so it slides across floor as others described. So it will need to be backed up to a wall or such. The most irritating aspect is that it is VERY loud, even on rubber mat and doubled wool Persian rug. This is not at all like the one at the gym or at the Physical Therapy center. It’s all metal except for plastic knob to set angle… and the plastic knob arrived broken (there was no visible packing to protected it. Too heavy for me to attempt return. It does still function…

Good unit once anchored. This unit has worked very well for months, and is tolerant of being left out in the rain, although I store it standing up so the water runs off. But, using the unit with 6 and 20 pound medicine balls, you really need to anchor the unit to keep it from making lots of noise and dancing around. When it dances around it does not rebound as effectively.I bought four 18″ screw auger anchors at the local hardware store, one for each corner, and trapped the unit firmly…

Very good product Because of this construction it is easy to move around when using it, can be moved on the patio to the yard very easily. After two rotator cuff surgeries it works excellent to loosen and strengthening up the shoulders when using the medicine balls. The only downside is that it moves around some when throwing the heavier medicine balls, but a couple of tent pegs took care of that.
