Sturdy product Not many reviews of medicine balls seem to be positive. At least not when I was looking through them. I can say I am very happy with this medicine ball. It took some time to break it in, but it is now working as expected for floor and wall slams. Based on other reviews I had been expecting it to burst, but so far it appears to be holding together very well. Grip is excellent with the “leather” main pieces and the textured rubber on the sides. My only knock is not against the product…

Love this medicine ball This is an all-around great purchase. I don’t know why anyone would buy a hard medicine ball; it would be impossible to do push-ups with. This one has some squishiness but not so much that it’s unevenly weighted and throws off your balance. It feels sturdy like it will last forever. I appreciate the textured surface so my sweaty hands don’t slip, and I like that it is black so it will never look filthy. Also the Everlast logo makes me feel like a serious athlete, hahahaha.

Well constructed medicine balls were traditionally constructed of leather, but this ball makes leather one simply more expensive, and no more functional. This ball has a nice tack finish to the exterior and works well for how I use it. I use it for stretching, sit ups, and bounce and catch off a wall. I believe this ball will last me for 25 years, but then I will not be abusing it. Still, I believe it the cover will stand up well under more rigorous use.
