Only lasts 1-2 months at best This is the 2nd consecutive strap I’ve bought where the glue has delaminated in less than 2 months. This basically renders the strap unuseable, since the electrodes begin peeling away. For the price point, this is unacceptable. I assumed that possibly the glue failure in the first strap was my fault, so I ordered a 2nd one and was extra careful to follow all of the recommended care procedures. Did not help.

Crapy strap doesn’t last long August 2016. I have been using this strap for 5-6 hours per week since April 2016. After 5 month of use it is almost worn out even though I use it very carefully. Not sure how long it will last until it becomes total garbage. The worst thing is that you can’t replace the strap even though the sensor is working good. Way better than the older versions – more data than you thought you could generate. I had the old HR monitor that I’d paired with my Garmin Fenix 3. I liked it alright. It wasn’t the most comfortable, and it only transmitted the heart rate. I found it functional in that regard, but it wasn’t nearly as cool as this new monitor is. This thing is awesome.This new version is more comfortable, slightly easier to put on, and connects quicker and more reliably than the older one.
