Owning the Iron Grip Adjustable Gripper 90 EXT is like owning six separate metal hand grippers. This single gripper provides resistance from beginning to professional levels.

Stage 1. 55lb (25kg)

Stage 4. 141lb (64kg)
Stage 5. 170lb (77kg)

Extending the handles with the provided add-on parts provides easier handling for people with larger-sized hands. The extension also increases the resistance depending on your grip position which allows you to set various training strengths.

AND A SPECIAL BENEFIT FOR OWNERS of the GD Iron Grip EXT 80 or 90. The manufacturer will award special editions of the EXT 90 to 100 people who can close this gripper at 80 or 90 kg. The gripper will contain custom laser markings with the person’s name, closing date, serial number, and the title “King of Crush.” Individuals will need to record a Youtube video clearly showing the closing of the gripper. They then must email the link to manufacturer. Please see the GDGrip site for more details.

Product Features

  • With the GD Grip adjustable gripper, you can start at the level of resistance that’s right for you and increase the resistance as your grip strength improves. Why limit your progress by using the same level of resistance day in and day out? Welcome to the future of grippers.
  • The resistance of the GD Iron Grip is generated by COMPRESSING a solid steel spring. Other adjustable grippers create resistance by STRETCHING the spring, which can be dangerous. Stretching a spring places extreme tension on the components holding the spring in place. These components often fail, resulting in dangerous flying debris and metal shrapnel. By compressing the spring, we’ve eliminated this risk altogether. Made in KOREA
  • The GD Iron Grip completely silent operation allows you to strengthen your grip anywhere without detection. Since there is no need to worry about the annoying squeak sound that most grippers make, you can use your GD IRON Grip at work, on a plane, in a library, or even in a movie theater without bothering those around you.
  • Why buy SIX expensive grippers when you can have the same levels of resistance all in ONE grip strengthener? Better yet, you’ll save 75% and end up with a higher-quality product that is more convenient and more comfortable to use. This is one of those rare moments when you can spend WAY less and get SO much more in return.
  • Extend the length of the handles with the included add-on parts! Wide, adjustable resistance range, from 55 to 198lb (25 to 90kg) *GD IRON GRIP is protected by PATENT issued by the US government (PATENT NO. US 9,415,262 B2).

Terrific gripper! Just got this a few days ago, and have only begun using it. So far, so great! This is a superbly well-engineered gripper. Some reviewers note the rough stippling on the handles. Maybe that was true of an earlier generation of these grippers. The stippling on mine is providing just enough gripping friction, and not cutting into my hands in the least. It’s very comfortable. The extenders are a terrific feature, that enable training at the same ‘weight’ with different hand-holds. And the…

Longtime grip-trainer This is the type of review I kind of feel bad about writing because the vast majority of my grip strength comes from another company’s products. I own Captains of Crush grippers, even their Imtug and a couple of their Zenith grippers but it is a hassle to keep up with them, store them, etc…I am certified on Captains of Crush #3 but I never use it for workouts. I can get around 5 reps with the 2.5. The 2 is where I can go to 12. The GD Iron Grip Ext 90 covers the range of the…

They’re great, but are slippery and tend to flex as … I have the plastic version of the GD grippers. They’re great, but are slippery and tend to flex as you get your grip closed. I saw these and decided to buy them. There’s absolutely no flex and they’re built like a damn tank. Adjustments are very easy and the included extensions are nice. The knurling feels great. Again, the fit and finish is excellent. That “did I just pay $60 for grippers?” feeling goes away right when you take it out of the box. These don’t…
